And what a beauty it is Andrew, wonderful colour!

Oh, lucky you. We are not even thinking Hellebores. Nothing here but a little snow and cold. So I thrive on all the wonderful photos that are here. Thanks for posts.

What a super colour! Love it, Andrew, but then I'm a sucker for Hellebores. ;-D Does it have a name?

Spritz - I think it's helleborus x hybridus 'Ballard Seedling.' It came from Wisley about ten years ago

Thanks. I shall see if it's still available - somewhere.

Thats a lovely colour.........

I agree lovely colour, our white ones are out, but the dark ones are having problems with the wet, waterlogged unfortunately... something they hate!!

I like the photo, Andrew, but, alas, not the plants.
(Mouldy makes a hasty exit to avoid lynching by the emotionally incensed readers. Lol.)

Mouldy it would not do for us all to like the same thing now would it?...........just think of the consequences..
25 Jan, 2014
Er...'1984' meets 'The Stepford Wives'? Lol.
25 Jan, 2014
Indeed.....ยง-)

Making up for last years snowy winter, perhaps? We haven't escaped the snow...tons of it and record cold. no hellebores here. alas. Pretty colour.

Poor you, Lori. I don't know which is worse, our flooding in Somerset or your horrible snow. Equally awful, really...
27 Jan, 2014
Yes don't want either!! Think I would go with the snow though, I can't think of anything worse than your flooding Barbara especially in winter....:(((. Keep warm Lori!
Have the first yellow flower bud on a Hellebore planted 2 years ago Andrew.....:))

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a heatwave in Glasgow. ;-)
27 Jan, 2014
I didn't think you had heatwaves in Glasgow, even in the summer :-)
27 Jan, 2014
That one, last year, Andrew, was the first in living memory.
Ever the optimist, I live in hope. Lol.
27 Jan, 2014
I never thought I would hear the words heatwave and Glasgow in the same sentence......
28 Jan, 2014
Lol. DD2.
Me either.
