This has to be my favourite, another plant in the right place for a change, the majority are too wet, so it will be all change in the Spring!!

I remember digging out clay in a semi circular border in my last garden. I was down to my waist in mud! I added a lot of sand. It definitely helped but its very hard to solve waterlogging in burders.

Some of my plants are creating micro ponds on their roots and saw a tiny froglet walking across the front garden, no ponds there! I have heard of the Aloes in tropical countries having wee frogs living in their micro pools.

This is a pretty Clem , It must be almost time to start pruning some of them down , I hate doing it as they look so healthy with foliage & buds ...

Amy it's a Hellebore.... lol!! Karen normally the plants would survive, but we have received far too much rain this winter, it will sort itself out all being well?

The borders surely must dry out sometime? I am afraid to count my Iris losses, water sitting in their crowns.
