OMG...now there's a must have! I've found the most of the hybridized daylilies have very weak foliage and sparse bloom...this one looks very sturdy and the colour is fantastic... going on The List. lol... How long have you been growing daylilies, Tet?

About 8 years Lori. A misnamed Luxury Lace which turned out to be Barbara Mitchell was my first and I havent looked back. Try Stagshorn Sumac and Kwanso (that spreads strongly - you have the space! - and is utterly beautiful. Got pics on here in my "Garden" on my profile

Even better, take a look at Simbad's...she has going on 200 varieties I believe.

I have the regular old orange daylilies growing at the back door and there is a clump of the lemon yellow ones under the walnut tree... wonderful things and the foliage is great too. Not really into getting a collection going...but I love the Byzantine Emperor. Going to look for that one! Stagshorn sumac..is that a daylily? If they're strong spreaders..they're for me! lol. I bought a clematis that was labelled Duchess of Edinburgh which turned out to be Gillian Blades!
