Yaaay at last we have daylilies :-)
Sunglasses for this one ;-)
I counted and this has 20 flower scapes.

Scapes are flower stems without leaves, which is what a daylily has. If you see a small leaf on a scape, it is a partial leaf called a bract.

Stunning!!!
I know nothing about daylilies only what I'm learning from here. I don't want to sound thick but am wondering why they are called scapes and not flower stems?
