Oops - you've just reminded me I dug up some pieces of ophiopogon earlier and left them lying on the path. Now it's raining heavily so they will just have to wait

I was out there till 3:30 and it started raining five minutes after I came indoors.
I've had to dig out all my gladiolus papilio - it would be another for your THUGS blog as it spreads by underground runners. Have potted up about ten plants but not sure whether to keep any for myself - the flowers are a wonderful smoky purple but boy, does it run!

my G papilio doesnt run as such:o(
perhaps they are too shady.
I will have to see how they are doing. didnt flower this year.
