My Dragon fruit has buds for the 6th time this year. This time I hope to pollinate it and get some fruit. Photo taken Sept. 30, 2013.

OMG.....Weave just come back from Greece mainland and bought brought back a piece of theis cactus to try and grow as the flowers were so lovely....but I didn't realise it was a dragon fruit........Wow...Hope mine takes......

Was it actually Dragon fruit? There's many species of Hylocereus; although, many do produce fruit.
Post a photo and I can id it for you. :>)

This plant bloomed last night and had many new buds developing. This is going to be the 7th time it's going to bloom this year.

Have post a pic of my little piece Andy...Hope its clear enough for you to ID. I did wonder why the greek lady was placing all of the spent blooms on her wall....the looked the same as your pic but a lot fatter at the base of the bloom.
