Hi Alexandramo, this Iris doesn't die down here. It's flowers in cycles throughout the year and I'll see the gorgeous blooms for a few weeks now.

That is stunning!

I've found that it spread quite easily. I only planted one plant last year and now there's literally dozens of them. I'll be doing some transplanting soon.

What a terrific pattern on this plant!

It is wonderful isn't it? The common name for it is Leopard Lily here, despite the fact it isn't a Lily!!!

Bernieh,
I have to keep a close watch.....I really like these, I would hate to lose them! Each one I planted has at least three little ones growing next to them. They do spread nicely, they are going to look fantastic this summer...(I hope).

Thank you Berhieh.....I should have collected their seeds just to be sure!!! I will probably run down to the garden later on and see if there are any seeds left...doubt it. I'm sure they will come back this summer with a bang....(trying to be very optimistic!)

I love this!! Do your plants die down in the winter? Some of mine are starting to turn brown.
