Tall bearded Iris 'Lullaby of Spring' just does not bulk up for me. This is only the 3rd time it has flowered in 15 years. I keep saying I will get rid of it, but just look at that subtle flower!

Klahanie, when I see it in flower, say, well I'll keep, when it is just sitting there, 1 rhizome not even a clump, I think, waste of space.
Gg, yes, I did see Monty Don, he must have put a sack of grit in that hole, I tend to keep the stones from around the garden, for the top of my Iris bed, you don't get much grit for you £s in a sack.
Raining here too, no pollinating today.

What else?
See who else is growing Iris germanica (Orris).
