Funny though....I bought this...and planted it in a basket on my pond shelf...it died.

RHS site says moist, wet and boggy soil. I have put it in a pot, within a shallow pot of water in the conservatory, because it is so small, but there are some small shoots on it.

I bought three different vars, but only one was a Louisiana. The other two are doing well.

I actually think the instructions should refer to Bearded Iris, or the Dutch bulb Irises.
