A beautiful Iris hybrid, which I think might be Iris pseudata Tsukiyono, a cross between I. pseudocorus and a selected I. ensata. It took a while to settle in until I started watering it a lot more.

Except that Brian has not had any flowers for two years ,I think I need to be a 100 miles south east to achieve that ,and be as dedicated to Iris as Siris is.

Oh Hi Brian. Hmm...you’ll have flowers again one day I’m sure.

Thank you so much, Brian. Now that I can see the pseudocorus influence, I've started giving it more water, and made sure the pH is slightly acidic. Two of the leaves started unfurling crinkled. I read that's because it got too hot, it was scorching here a week ago. Such a shame the one flower only lasted 2 days, next year hopefully.

Wow that's so beautiful.. you're so right...the only thing I would like to see improved about irises is their flower's life span. I've had the crinkled leaves in years past...not a problem this spring though,

All the info, if it's the cross I think, says it's sterile. but I've left a dying flower on to see if a pod forms. Watch this space a couple of weeks, for the answer?

good luck... fingers crossed.

I think the pods are shrinking by the day?
