You've seen these before. The first 2 intermediates, the 2nd line named varieties. The third line ones unnamed, I've named them to distinguish them.

They must look amazing all flowering together.

These are only the terminal flower, once the buds further down the stem and the later flowering varieties open the garden looks amazing. They are interspersed by shocking magenta Gladiolus byzantinus. A riot of colour.

I do love the byzantinus, ours are dotted and they need to be clumping!!

The Gladiolus are not quite open en mass, neither are the Irises, another week maybe. I'm waiting in anticipation for a particular Bearded to open to use for pollination.
