This is always the first reticulata iris to flower for me

I have 'noses' poking up but flowers will be a few weeks yet.

Siris - they need sharp drainage (mine are growing in gritty soil in a raised bed) and planting deeply. If they are too shallow, they generate lots of little bulbs that are too small to flower the following year

I just don't get the requirements correct to grow reticulate Iris after their first year. Given up now after x attempts. I'll enjoy yours instead.
