They can make it cheerful.
This Lantana is grown in the medians here...along with Natal Plums, Indian Hawthorn, Bird-of-paradise under the Jacaranda trees.

Yes, Bougainvillea 'Rosenka' is pretty widely used in medians. The large varieties are widely used along the freeways.

I see it grow wild there, also. They all in full bloom here, also.
