Always make me think of holidays in the Algarve where they are often grown as hedging plants.

I'm going to strike a cutting and try it in a sheltered spot next year DD.
It's popular the world over in dry and warm climates Shirley. That is why I'm so pleased with how low a temperature it can take.

WEED! LOL! Meanie, I love to give you a bad time! :>)
Lantana is such a horrible weed here in San Diego and in my yard. I allowed two to live. They pop up in my potted plants and all over my front yard. The pink variety seems to be the worst one in my neighborhood.
It does grow very quickly.

The pink, red-orange, yellow are very weedy! It grows very large, also. To more than 15' (4.6m) tall and spreading wider. Lantana montevidensis the purple species seems less invasive. It's used widely as a ground cover in medians in San Diego.
