It sure is Meanie....My brother had bought 3 of these for his garden, I put him on a guilt trip and he gave me 1 :)
I have been waiting weeks on these to open. My pink ones are nowhere near flowering yet!

Glad I saw this, still playing catch-up.....
Just love Liatris...had to bin my feeble plant, just wasn't doing anything, still have replaced it with two more, so better luck this time...Couldn't get the White though...but it's on my list....

I have a pink one too Crissue...wasn't doing well either - never grow highter that 8" - moved it to get more sun and it came on leaps and bounds :)

Oh that's good news...I think the mistake I made was buying the little bulbs, and it took forever, mine I had for two years, and the plant itself barely grew, but the little flower was about 6inches long..
never any change...So it was time to start again...Let someone else grow it first :o))...right sucker for punishment me...

I find it's best to always let someone else grow it first!!

Mine came from a packet of 35 (or so) from Lidl, for just over a euro this spring! Unfortunately, the only snails I've seen this year grazed most of them to the ground, just as they were coming up...
...still, the ones that are there are about 50cms high...must just be the luck of the draw....
