I just came across this pic SBG..is it still in your garden? I've just bought two M. Album and the orange tiger lily..but someone recommended this as being a very good lily. Has it performed well and does it have any special requirements or quirks?

I still have it, it doesnt really need staking and seems happy in partial shade too. the only draw back is it doesnt 'bulk up' quickly. I just let it get on with it.
well worth growing, I would replace it if I lost it. I think there are other photos of it in a blog on the hot border.

I will go look, nothing like seeing it in the garden! Thanks SBG.

told a fib there Its the L pardalinum that I took photos of in the hot bed. I will have other photos on the hard drive. sorry to mislead you. but it is well worth having. I am sorely tempted to get more as they are stunning.

I twigged that when I saw the pardalinum around that date, not to worry because it shows the effect of a turks cap type in the border just the same. Love it! However finds it first, lets the other know where? Ta!
