Malus x robusta 'Red Sentinel'

Malus x robusta 'Red Sentinel' (Malus x robusta 'Red Sentinel')

It has lots of little crab apples. I bought it many years ago for a wild life which ignores it. Squirrels will strip our regular apple trees but will never touch this one. Birds are not fussy about it either, they go after me grapes.
I planted it on edge of forest in area i call Sunvalley and it thrive in partial sun. It is huge ....not at all what internet pages suggest.
The blooms in spring are gorgeous as well.

What a pity its not enjoyed by the wildlife Klahanie! It's abundant with fruit too! It's seems a lovely crabapple tree too.

Thanks Kate.
At the beginning I used these crab apples to make jelly but not any more. I think I still have some in the freezer.
