Manila Mango.

Your Manila mango looks awesome! I don’t see any anthracnose on it, either.

My mango is full of anthracnose. The cloudy and cooler than normal weather is causing it lots of problems. I need to spray it with copper.

Thanks Andy. The smaller fruited make up for size in being hardy for the bay area. I wonder if anybody has the large fruited Mangoes in the bay area?

Do you spray copper to prevent anthracnose on your mango trees?

No...but I've been hit by that disease on the larger tree in the past. I just let it go until real summer- mid June- gets here and the trees sheds the dead or dying leaves.
The "Champagne" mango has been disease and pest free so far.
The May Gray goes on here.It does burn off by noon or so. No 80's in sight.

I noticed my mango tree is putting on a flush of growth. I’m amazed it’s growing in this unusually horrible cool weather. I doubt it’ll form any fruit, as this extremely cool, cloudy weather is not good for mango fruit formation.
