Growing behind the Liriope, it is more shocking pink than red, but I like the colour combination with the Liriope. From seed started this year.

No, Dawn, a tender tuberous perennial like it relative, M. barclayana, which I successfully over wintered outside last year.

Although tender, it's in your good care.

Thank you Dawn for saying that, but I employ the belt and braces method - take some seed just in case.

I feel that's the way to go.
I bought a Lysimachia 'Beaujolais' in the summer. After reading comments on here, I've established they dont survive winter too well so the plan is to collect seed and grow them as more of an annual. The seeds arent ripe yet, I will save you some seed :-)

Thank you Dawn, I would like that. I have just read it is treated as and annual or a short lived perennial. Some so called perennials just don't last that long.

I've put them on the list Siris. ?
I find it annoying when plants sold as perennials aren't really and they charge a good price for a plant that is basically an annual.

I hope the Maurandya sets seed before any frost gets it. It is covered in new flowers.

Fingers crossed
