IRIS AND WELSH POPPIES

IRIS AND WELSH POPPIES (meconopsis cambrica)

I don't buy yellow flowers, not keen on them, but the lovely Welsh poppy is always welcome.

I'm not really a yellow fan but I do like Welsh poppies, they look lovely with the Iris and Geum :o)

I hate to ask ....are you at work? :-)))) I'm not keen on scarlet either, if it's red I like a touch of blue to it or sort of maroony and I don't like orange much unless it's tempered with pinkish undertones. Just realised ....I'm very fussy:-))

I agree Ba.....about the colours that is, not you being fussy lol!

Ha ha, I will get all the plants you do not like, ladies. I do not like pink. Lucky for Garden Centers that we all have different tastes. I love your yellow irises Bornagain.

Thanks Klahanie and Sandra, it's a bit like a box of chocolates, I never liked the strawberry cream although it was the favourite of others:-))

They look lovely together Ba. I also like to let the yellow poppies self-seed, but sometimes wish they made better choices of where to land :)

True Sheila, but not impossible to get out unlike my other yellow flowers ...buttercups ***!!! (expletives):-)

:-) I just posted a picture of one. The flower is pretty. Pretty.... with bad behaviour . I would prefer your irises
