Monarda and Salvia

Monarda and Salvia (Monarda)

I keep these on the deck (originally planed to put it in the landscape) because hummingbirds love it and I can watch them close.

Many times that is my activity (or lack of it) as well Scottish .Love these little guys. They are very territorial and defend their feeders vigorously .

I've done that many times this year Klahanie - I'm on the lookout for the return of the red tailed bumblebees to my garden this year but no sign yet - my garden in usually swarming with them :(

That is no good Scottish, what do you think happened to them. I googled, because I have never seen them around here. They are sure cute little creatures.

I know for sure that the nest in my garden got flooded last year I thought the queen got away safely. I did a wee blog last year.

I doubt they will make an appearance this late in the year but maybe they will return next year.

These images are amazing Scottish. Loved your blog BTW.
I hope the queen had a chance to re-establish the colony.
