Monstera borsigiana variegated. Fun plant to have climbing a plain old Ash tree. May it grow tall and huge!

Its related to the green Monstera that does have larger leaves.
I bought this small Kate years before they became in fashion. I've even had to move it since gophers ate the roots one year.
Anyways one of the very few times in life I was trendy-wink.

That does look impressive! My sister would be amazed to see it too, she's always grown Monsteras, or Swiss Cheese plant....yes a big hit in the 70s..

They've gotten newly popular. A revival of the 50's and 60's in them. I remember my mom had a 50's style plastic Monstera..about as unreal looking as possible. Kind of wish I had still had it.
This type has leaves about 3/4 the size of the all green..but for some reason it's a much faster climbing Monstera going up in 2 years higher than an all green can do in five years- or more.

I guess it’s like retro gardening! All the mid century style is back in home decor, Stan! Why not in the garden too!
