How did you manage to get them so big Tommy?...

Delonix1:
You are right, they grow very fast, although some of mine didn't grow very much. 4m is impossible though for us :-)
Moti:
We dig a big and deep hole and prepare the soil before planting things. We concoct a special cocktail of cow exrament, compost, original earth and water (sounds unappetising lol but it works). The position helps too. The south-facing white wall seems to be very good for bananas and cannas. The same sized banana planted in a different place didn't grow much. Location, location, location!?

They sure have grown!
Bananas are extremely fast growers here in San Diego, CA. They will usually grow from 1ft/31cm - 12ft/4m or more in one summer.
