I think this is 'Geoff Hamilton', but not 100% certain.

They shouldn't need that - unless it's a very exposed place with lots of wind.

You could try a move when it's finished flowering - but I'd take cuttings as a fail-safe, Sandra, in case it doesn't appreciate the move! Pop them in water - that works for me! :-)
