Thanks. They are lovely shrubs. I wouldn't be without one. :-))

My absolute favourite! Got one last year :^)

Good for you! I bought another one this year, with variegated foliage. It flowered earlier than 'Belle Etoile'.

These are very nice shrubs & I often passed one on my way to town/allotment. It's scent was lovely! It's finished flowering now.

Thats sounds lovely Spritzhenry, havent seen variagated one, ive also got a young one called 'Silver Showers' that flowered slightly earlier than Belle, had it for about 3 years and it was its first time flowering, so it was a nice surprise! Mind you i put it in the garden this year out of the pot, so maybe thats why.

I'm surprised 'your' one has finished flowering, Balcony. Mine's still going strong.
Daylily, I'm sure I posted a photo of the variegated one earlier - maybe in May? I've also seen a differently variegated plant - the Nursery brought it to my open garden - I almost wished I'd chosen that instead! Too late now to change my mind. lol.

Ooh, will take a look again! Did the other one look prettier than the one you chose?
23 Jun, 2011
Well - unless I could put them side by side, I'm not sure. I chose my variegated one, I like it, so that's that, really! ;-)

It's not mine, I have no room on the balcony for shrubs! It's in a garden I pass on my way to town or to the allotment. It has finished flowering for this year though.

Yes, I realised that - that's why I added the apostrophes! :-))

Sorry, Spitz, I forgot when I replied!
