i caught it at the right moment and no Lori it is actually the first flush of young growth, took it last week, it has just today started to flower
most plant leaves go from green to red in autumn, this one goes from red to green in spring!
it must like dry conditions you see so many of them here. yes they are certainly hardy, i give it my washing up water!! lol
