jacob's ladder

jacob's ladder (Polemonium pulcherrimum)

This lawn is usually mown by the landowner so I never knew this was here. The jacob's ladder that is wild here is so tender and beautiful. I love it.

Beautiful! I really love the wild flowers, after all most of our garden plants come from them but the wild ones are so delicate. We lived in Catalunya for a few years and the terrace in front of the house had wild herbs and lavender, in early spring tiny wild daffodils and snakes head lillies grew, the first spring we were there, I couldn't believe my eyes!
The grass on your lawn looks really fine too, it's a very lovely place you have.
