I found bulbs only generally survive in pots for me - get flooded and dug up by the ffffff squirrel - planted lots with sand - lost 50% plus in garden itself sadly

Blimey mate, I'm lucky don't get many squirrels here, I had a bag of 30 about 4 years ago but the last few cold and damp winters have done them in, these were in alpine settings really gravely and sandy so good drainage..

mine have done so badly - but ones in pots are good. I feel wasted so much money
