Autumn berries


Autumn berries (Pyracantha angustifolia (Fire Thorn))

Yhe pyracantha berries are pretty but not so many as last year.

I've got one of these but as red berries, wont be on there to long when the birds see them.

I've got a yellow p., which I really relished when I moved in (1992) but it has hardly ever made berries, although some years it has plently of blossom. I think, like my hydrangea, it may have fallen foul of my rather random pruning.
