I really had to search for the name of this plant.

Thanks Chris - I aim to please! lol. Seriously, I do like to know what's growing in the garden. When we came here in January 2005 I decided not to change anything but to wait for everything to appear and then decide what to keep and what to lose. I treated myself to the RHS 'A-Z' encyclopaedia as I only had an old and very well-thumbed copy of the Reader's Digest one. I had to thumb through them all quite a lot to name some of the existing plants and shrubs! We had clay and flint back in Kent - awful to garden on! It is so different here, with good loam in much of the garden, though several areas I've developed since have had large lumps of blue lias rock in them - that's what the house is built from. I have had to learn what will and won't grow here - sometimes the hard way! Fun learning though, isn't it!

You are very good at naming your plants Spritz. I've never heard of many of them.
