Yes, you're right ....there is a stream behind the willow tree, I have steps leading down to it so I can get in and wash my wellies! The willow has only been in about 7 years but they are fast growning arent they. I love to walk under it and feel the leaves, reminds me of when I was little. Our garden is quite wet so the gunnera which you can see beyond does well. That's on a piece of land the other side the brook but still within our boundary. The gunnera is one of my favourites and really is massive and gets bigger each year. We call this part of the garden the island, I have a bridge going over to it behind the gunnera and I have wild garlic set on there which forms a carpet of white flowers in the Spring and is very fragrant when crushed, as you can imagine ....

~Be careful of the wild garlic as it can spread like wildfire and is difficult to remove-the bluebells in my local wood are having a hard time against it!~

Oooh what a lovely, peaceful looking spot to stretch your legs and have a leisurely walk !

Thanks Flcrazy, it is also very restful to sit in this area (when we get time, lol) listening to the water in the stream.
