I have one of these either side of my front door & the perfume is just out of this world. Bought a couple of years ago as sale plants, but they've come on quite well. Thought I might shape them like box balls.

Lovely can smell it from here:-)
Remember going to Hodsock Priory to see the snowdrops a couple of years ago and smelling this for the first time, spent ages looking round to see where the scent was coming from, they had a whole hedge of it so you can imagine how strong it was, really must go again this year.

I have three in all & keep them all in pots, move them around then. I've only ever bought sale plants no more than £2./£3. Then just give a bit of TLC. They usually sell them off after the spring, because I have to admit they do look like just a boring green bush, although they do form little black berries. This is why I thought I might topiarise one as an expiriment.
