They just might not have gone yet Spritz I live in Warwikshire and still have them in my garden, very pretty

I do hope that they'll be back. I still haven't found out where they go in bad weather....just curious!

They can detect bad weather up to several hours away, they hide or sit under or on leaves,Peacocks in rabbit burrows, commas in log piles or hollow tree trunks, orange tips on leaves or flower heads, Browns, blues most skippers rest deep into grasses, tussocks for shelter, dingy skipper in the open or knapweed plant. now you know where they go to in bad weather

Look for the scarlet pimpenel farmers weather glass, closes its flower when rain is due.

I have it too so I leave a couple in to watch yes the animals and insects are more clever than the met office have you seen my blog on this.you can even tell what weather is going to be by the moon too.
