There seem to be a lot of bees at the moment, stocking up for the winter on Autumn flowers. Nice one.

Me too at this time of year I have loads of clumps dotted about :-)
There are Siris, we did have a bee keeper on the allotments at the bottom of the garden and I always had loads of honey bees now he's gone and haven't noticed so many until now all the sedum are swarming in them :-)

Me to Carole, no sign of any wasps this year though, OH heard something about them on the radio being scarce this year due to the cold winter a couple of years ago?, we usually have loads and even had a nest in my honeysuckle year before last, amazing construction, I know they aren't everyones favourite but brilliant predators of aphid apparently :-)

I havent seen many at all this year just thinking about it this morning when I spotted one, not my favourites in the insect kingdom but it will be a loss if they are starting to die off!
