Nice, Delonix!
We try to grow it here in Phoenix, but it never seems happy.
Are those two different color forms twined together?

I'm not sure if it's two different forms growing together. It had a lot of flowers and there was a lot of seeds being produced as you can see.

I just noticed that some had yellow discs, and some had red discs, no matter what apparent age they were.

It makes a reasonable conservatory specimen here in the UK.

Tubrethil:

It's a very large vine. It could be two vines mixed together.

Meanie:

I would this vine would have to be grown in a conservatory there. It's a pretty tropical vine.

Not many Senecio's are even partly hardy by bay area standards.Mother of thousands is a good one. Others are small plants. I have the small blue one doing well. Hard to describe- sort of serrated looking edges- soft. I know the name- just cant think of it. Succulent.
If the Flame Vine is as hardy as Stephanotis..worth a try.

This one is sold in the Bay Area. I've seen it many times. What's so nice with vines is that they can be planted in protected spot on the south-side of a house or building.

The first time I saw this vine growing was in the Bay Area.

Stan,

It used to be widely available for sale in the SF Bay Area. I know Regan's Nursery (if they're still open) and other nurseries used to carry this vine.
