Sisyrinchium E K Balls

meanie

By Meanie

Sisyrinchium E K Balls (Sisyrinchium)

I had to wait for the flower to open on this low growing rockery perennial, as I bought a few in the end of season sale and removed the tags (I do keep the tags in the garage for reference fortunately).
I was rather hoping that this would be the yellow one.....

It's small, but prolific. This is loaded with flower buds, although the flowers only last a day.
