Made up these pots with a skimmia "reevesiana" and a couple of evergreen ferns. The front of the house is shaded by conifers so was tricky but i think these look quite nice :D

What a great combination. Makes a change to see skimmia reevesianna and you'll have a lovely shrub to pot on next year. Perfect.

Thanks :) the pots are actually a zinc colour to go with the door furniture, just shows how dark it is outside the front :s I love how much brighter they make it feel though, poppylover - thank you :) id been looking for the reevesiana for ages, i think my patience worked off!
