Australian Brush Cherry with fruit. The fruit is usually a big problem around walkways...especially concrete because it stains.

Thanks! Yes, the leaves to the left are on the
same plant -- the new leaves grow out in red,
copper or pink. The shrub or tree has a
two-tones appearance.

These look similar to the berries we have here (we call misimisi)these usually are in season during theXmas season and are used to adorn and decorate the traditional leafy Xmas neck leis that are made in the villages for the festive Xmas functions.
They are edible too here, yes I recall how we used to munch on them as a child. with other village children back then...lol,,,nice pic Delonix !!

Panther:
Many species of Syzygium look very similar. They're very ornamental
tree and shrubs and many have edible fruits.

I love those berries, such a sunny, summery colour !
The leaves to the left of the picture ..... are they from the same plant, they aren't curving and they're different colours ?
