This shrub is just coming into flower. It will be prettier and fluffier in a few days time.

These trees are very common here Lori. They are often used along the side of motorways etc. I will put up another pic soon when it is much fluffier. I've got Cotinus too in my garden, their fluffy flower heads look more like smoke, a bit different to the Tamarisk.

This is a unique plant...have you googled it recently? interesting reading.
I do love the frothy blossom, it's frothy florescence is very like cotinus coggyria (sp) isn't it?
the older I get the worse my spelling becomes!
