I love this plant, and have it in my front garden, but it is proving to be a bit of a thug.It runs everywhere and you need the pull up the runners before they get established.Supposed to be tender but mine came through the last two hard winters with no protection.

I've had this one 4 years it hadn't ran much until this year, it had the top cut back by the hard frost last winter and this seems to have encouraged it to put up runners everywhere!!!, I potted several up foy my friends but I now just pull them up.

If mine grows lots of runners, I shall take them to the walled garden where I work and they'll be glad of them!
