A low growing variety which only reaches about 3" - pretty ground cover :-))

I have paid good money in the past for that and it dies each time,is it just your normal garden soil its growing in.

Yes Bj, it's in thin poor soil here, in sun too, i have several plants and they're all west facing.

I got mine late last year for my new alpine bed..its in poor soil with added grit....in an east facing aspect.

Yes...its amazing how some delicate looking plants are really as tough as old boots!!....especially when this one was only planted in November, and would have not had time to get its toes in the soil.......
