This is a commonly grown plant along freeway because of its drought tolerance. It has small yellow flowers.

I looked up this one. The seeds are about one inch diameter and also known as lucky nuts. These are carried as charms or talismans in the West Indies.
All parts are very poisonous if eaten. No explanation of the fact it's also called the Be-Still tree? Could it be one of several trees where substances from the roots can be used as a tranquiliser?
