Dwarf Linden that I bought last Fall. I was going to use it as a bonsai and even had it wired through the winter but changed my mind. I have trouble remembering to give bonsai plants the daily attention the require and don't want to risk losing it. It doesn't look like it will flower this season but I have treated it to prevent Japanese beetles and hopefully it will flower next season.

The only name I have ever heard it called is Japanese beetle, the scientific name is Popillia japonica. It was brought over from Japan a while ago and when it emerges it does a lot of damage.
