This is the healthiest looking of my three surviving trachys. All went to pot today!

My daughter in Somerset has one and I'm surprised at how hardy it has been. It has flowered the last two years as well.

I lost two during the 'deep-freeze', Sg. But they were only planted last spring. Hopefully, they'll be happy in pots.

I know, J - and it's beautiful!! They do seem to love that south western air you have there...
I think that the 10 days of minus 20° (after a couple of weeks of 22°) was just too much for mine in their first year out.
Anyway, decided to move them - got plans for that part of the garden! ;)))

And, what with the strapping lad's intervention...new garden by Sunday....! ;)))

This is the good looking one, Pixi...the other two are in need of a wee bit TLC :)
They're supposed to be hardy to minus 15°, Bloomer. I didn't think that I would have a problem with them. But, I think you're right. I think that they prefer the west coast to the icy North Sea blasts...
