Different habit for a Clover, erect, about 2 1/2 ft. Really stands out in the border when in flower.

Some you win, some you lose, Andrew.
Simbad, I think I must have originally grown from seed.

This was one of the first plants I added to the last garden, but sadly it just got too big for it's situation and had to go. But I really loved it in its first year when it gave such a lovely display. I'll add it to my faves, because it might come in useful here later....for filling a big gap in the raised bed.

Whoo the bigger the better, sounds wonderful.

I will see if it produces seed, usually dead head, when the flowers are finished.

Thank you. I'm at the stage now where ... lupins looking a bit tatty but need to collect seed, foxgloves, well still OK but I will leave them to seed around so will look a mess for a while, aquilega - gone over but it would be nice for Nora Barlow to seed around. The joys of gardening.
