Viburnum x bodnantense 'Dawn'

Viburnum x bodnantense 'Dawn' (Viburnum x bodnantense 'Dawn')

It's only a young shrub, so I'm pleased to see some flowers on it.

lol - Sandra. Same here, but mine is only about a foot. I don't know where it came from. I must have bought it somewhere ! But just don't ever remember seeing it before. I get more senior moments now lol

They are very pretty flowers, I inherited one when we moved here 5yrs ago, it was very overgrown blocking all the light from the front window, we cut it back to one big trunk and it has now made a lovely topairy feature, will post a picture for you;0)

I'd wanted one in my garden for ages - it's been in three years and these are the first flowers. :-)

Two little sprigs of flowers isn't much, but it's a start. :-)

Very jealous. Mine has flowered reliably for years and years and looks 100% healthy but hardly a single flower this year. And next door's is the same. Beautifully green, but that's it. We are not sure why.

PS. Just had the answer from another source. Sparrows. We have loads of them and they like to peck the young buds. And that's their favourite bush. Now I know why.
