V. farreri is one parent of V. x bodnantense. This is a dwarf form which is supposedly shy to flower

PH - I've had mine for about ten years now. At first, it was reluctant to flower, but the past three years, the display has been getting better and better. Perhaps It's just a slow starter?

I've got one of these coming on,so hopefully it wont know that it's supposed to be shy flowering.
