I bought a variety basket of pansies at a discount because they'd bloomed out and gotten "leggy". There weren't any others left at the nursery, and I love pansies; so I cut them back and they just went crazy!

Thanks, most of the ones in the basket were shades of purple-but I got a few surprises!

I had to have them- everyone had sold out of their pansies already, and I love them so!:)

I'll make a point to collect some. I usually pull the old flowers off so that new blooms will keep appearing. In a month or so I will let them go to seed so I can harvest them. I want some more of these Too!
Pansies seeds need cool temps to germinate. Plant them in a shallow pan or tray, then put it in plastic before putting them in the fridge for 3-4 weeks. Do this at the onset of the coolest season you have, they will perform better for you that way, as you live in a tropical climate:)
