Georgialo's Profile

I live in the rainy (and windy) west of Scotland in Argyll. I have a large, mature garden. The back garden is extremely steep as we live on the side of a hill. Rhodies are like weeds here! I am just starting a vegetable garden this year, but am pretty clueless. The soil is acid and we have no worms. I mostly plant flowers and my veg in containers as I feel more secure using them. It's all a bit trial and error, but in these testing economic times I really do want to Dig For Victory!
