Lovely Lilies

I love Lilies too G. Tho' I have been fighting with green fly this year as they like them as much as I do.

Magnificent!

Its always a treat to see lilies, no matter whether here or in someone elses garden, always a favourite of mine, the only bother they cause me is when i have inspected too closely and end up staining my shirts with the pollen....

My lilies have done well this year, dispite a constant battle against lily beetles - I love them too.

I seem to have managed to avoid both greenfly and staining my clothes this year so I must have been lucky! But I did wake up one night convinced I had an infestation of lily beetles ... luckily it was just a dream and there weren't really any beetles at all!

The fragrance was lovely too :)

Lovely lillies Gg. I had a pot of yellow ones given to us for a 50th wedding anniversary present, they were beautiful, bronze markings, have had to ask the "giver" for instructions on after flowering care! good job she only lives next door! :)
ps never thought to take pics of them, hope they flower next year so i can show them!
